If the dentist makes the smile makeover (direct technique) only 1 appointment is needed. In case the lab technician makes the bonding and the dentist glues the resin construction (indirect technique) 2 appointments are needed for a complete treatment. In both methods, bonding gives a nice low cost result, quite easily achieved.

The only drawback of this choice is that bonding stains from coffee, tea, smoke, red wine etc and it needs a very careful follow up with regular scale and polish, in order to increase the lasting period of the work in the mouth.
