The whole procedure involves a set of specifically designed splints that have to be changed every 2 weeks. The patient wears the aligns on a 24 hours per day basis and removes them during eating, drinking, brushing and flossing.
The procedure may require 14 to 30 or more sets of aligns depending on the special characteristics of each case. On average 20 sets of aligns seem to be effective enough.
The results are accurate and predictable from the initial stages due to the hi-end 3D technology used while the teeth movements can be visualized prior to the beginning of the treatment.
